College admissions strategy for students and families

Pricing

Three ways to work together, and every price is published. Almost no one in this industry does that.

The List Check $295, one time

Best for: families who already have a list and want to know whether it is realistic.

What you get

What it is not

This evaluates the list you bring. It does not build a list from scratch, and it does not cover extracurricular strategy, testing plans, or timelines. That is The Roadmap.

The $295 credit: upgrade to any package within 60 days and the full $295 comes off the price. There is no penalty for starting small.

The Roadmap $1,495, one time

Best for: 8th through 11th graders who want the complete plan, and seniors who need a focused application strategy.

What you get

How long it takes

Most roadmaps come together within a week or two of the intro call. I will not promise a turnaround date I cannot control, and I would rather be straight with you about that than miss one.

The Living Roadmap $2,995 first year, renews at $1,495/yr

Best for: underclassmen, where the plan has to change as fast as the student does.

What you get

Billing and cancellation

Billed at $2,995 for the first year. It renews automatically each year at $1,495 until high school graduation or until you cancel. I email you before every renewal, and you can cancel by replying to that email or writing to [email protected]. A student who starts in 9th grade and stays through graduation pays roughly $7,500 in total.

How this compares

The average comprehensive engagement in this industry runs about $6,500. Premium firms charge $25,000 to $100,000 or more, per child. Most of them publish no price at all, which tells you something about how the pricing conversation usually goes.

Waypoint costs less because a research engine and database carry the analytical work that traditional firms bill out as human hours. The judgment is still mine, and I read and sign off on every roadmap personally.

Founding clients

I am taking a limited number of founding clients at preferred pricing, in exchange for honest feedback and, once I have earned it, a testimonial. Ask about it on the intro call.

Payment terms

Payment is by card. For students under 18, a parent or legal guardian is the contracting party and the payer. The refund and cancellation policy spells out exactly how refunds work at each stage of the engagement.

What no price buys

Admission is never guaranteed, at any price, by anyone. I do not write essays or applications. Your student is the sole author of everything submitted, and any consultant who offers otherwise is putting the application at risk.
